What You Must Consider Before Starting Your Weight Loss Jogging Exercise Routine
Jogging is one of the best exercise to lose weight. I managed to lose 30 pounds in 3 months through jogging. For me, jogging is the most effective and natural ways to lose weight. Taking pills, weight loss surgery are out of nature and they can affect on our health.
However, jogging is not for everyone. Before you start your jogging exercise, please take some simple steps to review whether you should get started with jogging:
1. Think about your weight. Jogging is a good exercise but it impact on our knees and joints. This impact will be increased if you jog on the wrong place or your weight is too heavy. Generally, you are advised to get started by walking. When you feel easy with walking, then you can move up to fast walk. These kind of exercises can help you to build muscle and stamina so that you can support your weight during exercise. You can start jogging after you feel easy with walking.
2. Consider how strong your joints are. Just like what I said just now, jogging will have impact on your knees, hips and ankles. If you are currently having problem with those parts, you must get started slowly with less intensive exercise. Let your body builds the muscle and get used to the exercise before jogging. You must also take the enough rest between each exercise session so that you body have time to recover. Don’t overload your body. Exercise to lose weight is a slow process.
3. Access your present fitness level. Jogging is not a hard exercise to be carried out but it does have some requirements. You need a certain level of fitness to be able to jog effectively for long enough to burn calories. Because of this your breathing system must be in good condition. You must be able to breathe continuously in order to keep jogging for a certain amount of time. Therefore you must check with your doctor whether you are suitable to carry out this exercise.
Jogging is a good exercise to lose weight. However not everyone is suitable for this exercise especially if you have just started to exercise. Therefore, you can carry out some simple exercise like walking, fast walking before you start jogging.
